Founded by Gwendolyn Endicott and continued by her daughter Carolyn Greenwood, The Magic Rainforest (also known as Wanderland) is a forest sanctuary dedicated to promoting healing through nature.

Carolyn is excited to guide you on a healing journey through ecotherapy. In 2024, she became a certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides (ANFT).
Carolyn facilitates forest therapy walks and other wellness activities at Wanderland, sharing her mother Gwendolyn Endicott's vision of the healing power of forests with visitors along the coast.
Dedicated to helping others on their healing journeys, Carolyn employs enriching methods such as nature, art, and ceremony. Her ecotherapy workshops demonstrate how mindfulness in nature can enhance people's lives.
Carolyn provides mindful healing techniques, including guided forest therapy walks, SoulCollage facilitation, and ceremonial services. She has shared these practices with both individuals and groups, aiding them in their personal development.
She has worked in various settings, including addiction treatment centers, where she has supported people from all walks of life on their healing journey.
As a healing arts practitioner, Carolyn has helped others see a glimmer of hope during challenging times.
Wanderland Rainforest is a place that its founder Gwendolyn Endicott called home for 33 years. Today, all programs facilitated in the forest are dedicated to her vision.
Gwendolyn, a mythologist and storyteller, believed in nature's healing power. She often said, “The forest is the teacher and I am its storyteller.”
Within her forest sanctuary she brought life to the magic of her gifts. As a teacher, writer, and environmental activist she was well regarded and loved within her community. Throughout her life at Wanderland, she wrote three books:
When Gwendolyn passed in 2022, her legacy was kept alive and Wanderland was placed in a family trust.
Her final words to her family emphasized continuing to protect and share the land. She said, "you will help it grow, change, and become a beacon of healing and light in the rainforest."
Today, Wanderland stands as a testament to Gwendolyn's legacy. Nestled amidst towering trees and meandering streams, it is a haven for those seeking solace, inspiration, and connection with nature. Visitors can experience the magic of the forest by registering for one our class on the Offerings page.
